Animals As Food :giving Thanks to their Spirit as opposed to Thanking God For the Food provided.
by smiddy inas i was cutting up our bbq chook in preperation for our meals i thought about some indigenous societies that just after a kill give thanks to the spirit of the animal for providing its life so he and his family can live.. i thought that seems to make a helluva lot more sense than giving thanks to an unseen god who is apparently indifferent to mankinds sufferings and is deaf to all the prayers that are offered up to him.. maybe we dont hunt for our food nowadays in the civilized world , but i think its food for thought..

Is the GB setting up to dump 1914?
by karter inwith the "generation change" and them changing it all the time it would make sence to dump it all togeather.. lets face it ,it can be disproved easly.. they dumped 1975 in a heart beat .. this would buy them all the time they wanted as they would just find another date to start the generation from ie: "the u.n year of peace and sercurty'',1986 i belive or whatever else they could think of.. they could sell it to the r&f as easly as they sold 1975,then dumped it when it did'nt happen .. anyone questioning them would be told they are running ahead of jehovah or lacking faith in his earthly org that feeds us food at the proper time .. what do you think?.

a statement by the watchtower society released this week, is highlighting the achievement of two major awards for sustainable development actions.. the green building initiative (gbi) has awarded certificates for two new buildings at the united states branch facilities.
the awards are achievements for the watchtower farms f residence, completed in late 2012, and the watchtower wallkill office building, completed in 2014.. ....................these awards may indicate that sustainable management techniques are being applied to ensure the cost effectiveness of the buildings.

If Jesus had to choose his earthly organisation NOW, who would win?
by stuckinarut2 inwe all know that the society claims that jesus invisibly chose the bible students (forerunners of jw) in 1919 to be his organization here on earth.. yet, as we know, so much of what they then taught and did was wrong according to current teaching and practice.. the reply witnesses will give is something like "they were the most sincere seekers of truth blah blah...and jesus could see their potential".
so, pretend for a moment that the current organization and the 1919 organization were both in concurrent existence at the time he invisibly came to choose.... which would he choose?
